Liebherr’s latest article, the TA 230 Litronic.

The TA 230 Litronic is said to have been remodeled and designed with state-of-the-art technical implements. The dump truck has a new design in the front end area to create maximum ground clearance for off-road performance.

The Powershift transmission has been compactly placed under the operator cab and exhaust gas aftertreatment is installed behind the cab to save space, so a large angle of inclination could be generated.

The equipment has a 6-cylinder machinery engine with 12 liters of displacement and 265 kW / 360 hp, which meets the requirements of the V standard on exhaust emissions. An 8-speed Powershift automatic transmission ensures optimal power distribution.

The new TA 230 Litronic is designed for the transport of a payload of 28 tons.

According to Liebherr, the modern assistance systems installed help the machine operator, thus increasing safety and comfort. In addition to a hill start assistant, a speed assistant is also available. With the forced stop function, the damping of the final position of the channel lift cylinders can be activated or deactivated at the touch of a button. The lifting platform is limited to work in a critical height area with the help of the height limit.
